Another is pilot-operated valve. This one  have small valve called pilot that  control bigger one. If you suspect  that,  look for dirt or damage on valve. Cleaning  might fix, but if spring broken you will need replace it. Another thing is leaking from valve. When  you see  leak, probably seal worn out.  Check seal for crack and change if needed.
